Govinda Kunda is situated near Govardhana Hill in the Govardhan region of Vraja Mandala, Uttar Pradesh. It is an important site on the Govardhan Parikrama path.

During the famous Govardhan Lila, Lord Krishna lifted Govardhan Hill to protect Vrindavan from Indra’s wrath. Humbled, Indra realized Sri Krishna’s supreme divinity and performed a sacred abhishek with Ganga water and milk from Surabhi cow. This bathing spot became Govinda Kunda. Scriptures praise it as a sacred site where divine reconciliation and surrender occurred.
