“How much more so the righteous brāhmaṇas, the devotees, and saintly kings! Therefore, having come to this temporary, miserable world, engage in loving service unto Me.”

Aim

To emphasize that if even those of lower birth can attain perfection through devotion, what to speak of the righteous and noble, and to encourage everyone to worship Sri Krishna in this temporary world.

Objectives
  • To reflect on the eligibility of righteous brāhmaṇas and saintly kings.
  • To understand why devotion among the virtuous is natural and exemplary.
  • To recognize that birth or status does not restrict bhakti.
  • To contemplate the temporary and miserable nature of this world.
  • To reflect on the urgency of engaging in devotion.
Application in Life
  • See the truth of the world: Recognize that material pleasures are short-lived and ultimately unsatisfying, which inspires surrender to Sri Krishna.
  • Follow noble examples: Learn from the righteous and saintly who practiced devotion despite privilege or power.
  • Act with urgency: Do not delay taking up bhakti, since this human life is temporary and precious.
Simple Takeaway

If even the marginalized can attain Sri Krishna, how much more the righteous and noble. Since this world is temporary and miserable, everyone should urgently engage in devotion to Him.
